Si le programme de désinstallation par défaut de Windows fait généralement bien son travail, certains logiciels ne peuvent pas toujours être supprimables, notamment quand vous avez effacé manuellement le répertoire de celui-ci. Il devient dans ces cas làdifficile de se débarrasser des fichiers temporaires et des données crées dans la base de registre.

C'est là qu'intervient Your Uninstaller, un logiciel capable de reconnaître les algorithmes de la plupart des programmes d'installation, de sorte à supprimer tous les fichiers qui lui sont liés. En plus du désinstallateur, Your Uninstaller offre quelques outils supplémentaires :

- un gestionnaire de démarrage, pratique pour déceler si un spyware s'active automatiquement au lancement de Windows ;

- un nettoyeur de disque, permettant de scanner et d'effacer les fichiers temporaires présents sur votre PC.

- et un gestionnaire de menu contextuel, offrant la possibilité de supprimer toutes les entrées de fichiers non désirés.

Le programme, à l'interface agréable, propose un outil de recherche permettant de localiser facilement l'objet à supprimer. Vous pouvez même corriger les programmes dont l'installation n'aurait pas correctement fonctionné.

Enfin, Your Uninstaller propose trois mode de désinstallation :sécurisé, modéré, et agressif. A vous donc de jauger entre efficacité et risque.
